McKenna's Birthday

Riley went to her first birthday party this weekend. Her buddy, McKenna, who lives across the street, was born 16 days before little one and her father is from Indy. Go figure. McKenna had Riley both had a great time. Riley didn't quite understand that it wasn't her birthday. So, after McKenna opened presents, the wrapping paper went right to Riley. Little one is now all warmed up for her first birthday part, which will be in two weeks. McKenna, pictured with the cake, did a pretty good job at keeping herself clean. We'll see how well Riley does.

Meanwhile, dad is teaching little one all about baseball. It's that time of year and of course, Riley's favorite team is the Reds. She made a good choice. Little one likes to stare at the television when the Redlegs are on. Her first baseball seasons so far hasn't been a good one. As most of you know, the Reds are currently under .500. Little one has learned there is more to the game than winning.
